FIRST ALERT TRAFFIC: US 521 reopen after 18-wheeler collision knocks down power lines

SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WIS) - U.S. 521 North is back open at the curve in front of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church after a collision involving two 18-wheelers.

Both lanes of the highway were shut down for much of the afternoon following that crash. The collision knocked down some nearby power lines as well.

Officials have not said whether there were any injuries in the collision.
