ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) - The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office is seeking community assistance in identifying and locating a vehicle in connection with a shooting on April 22 that sent a juvenile to the hospital with a gunshot wound.
The 16-year-old victim was shot in the leg after he and his companion were walking through the Roosevelt Gardens apartment complex. Witnesses state that a vehicle drove up and when it got close to the victim, someone inside the vehicle began to shoot. The victim and his companion dove to the ground, but they quickly realized the victim had been shot in the leg.
The victim's companion transported the victim to the hospital where he was interviewed by police.
The wanted vehicle is described as a late model white Audi using paper plates indicative of temporary tags.
