WEST COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

A dog who had become a stowaway in a carjacking in West Columbia has been found in Sumter, according to police.

Here’s what happened: On Saturday, June 10, a woman was parked in front of St. Paws Thrift Store in West Columbia’s Triangle City. Her car was stolen. Inside the car was her two-year-old Chihuahua named Boo Boo.

The stolen car is a 2012 Honda Accord. It’s a white four-door with a sunroof. Police also released surveillance images of the suspect.
