October staying warm

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

We’ll start to warm-up over the next few days as middle 80s return to the forecast. High pressure will be in place today through Thursday and with a south/southwest winds thing will warm up quickly. Each morning could start out a bit foggy before the  sun comes out and mixes things up. A cold front will be through by Friday giving us a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
 
Today:  Mostly sunny, highs lower 80s.
 
Tuesday – Thursday:  Mostly sunny, highs lower to middle 80s.
 
Friday: Mostly cloudy, 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms, highs upper 70s
