John W. Popp, Jr., M.D., FACG

John W. Popp, Jr., M.D. earned his undergraduate degree in Biology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He received his medical degree at Yale Medical School in New Haven, CT.

He completed his Internship and became Medical Resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Dr. Popp then completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Popp is President Elect of the American College of Gastroenterology, a group of over 8,000 physicians.

He is heavily involved in clinical research as a Principal Investigator on cancer prevention and disease management.
