KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

A soldier from Fort Bragg, North Carolina stands charged with several charges after the Kershaw County Sheriff's Department said he led them on a high-speed chase.

Deputies arrested Michael Alexander Jackson. He is charged with failure to stop, reckless driving and going more than 25 miles over the posted speed limit.

According to Kershaw County Sheriff Jim Matthews, deputies clocked the driver at 103 miles an hour. The chase eventually ended in Lee County.

But perhaps the most curious note of this story is the dashcam footage that came with it. The video shows the deputy calmly responding to the incident Jackson complying without issues.

Jackson was transported to the Kershaw County Detention Center where he was eventually released after posting a $3,445.00 bond.
