Deputies: Would-be robber flees scene after he notices security camera

ORANGEBURG, SC (WIS) -

Orangeburg County deputies are seeking a man who broke into a Branchville church, but wasn't able to steal anything. 

Surveillance footage from McBranch Baptist Church on Hoghaven Road shows the would-be burglar being dropped off by a pick-up truck just after midnight on April 27.

Deputies say the man is then seen breaking into a storage shed at the church. 

However, investigators say, the man noticed a security camera watching his every move. It was at that point, officials say, the man covered his face and fled the scene without even stealing anything.
