After graduating from high school, Parker enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served two tours in Iraq as an Infantry squad leader. Impressed with his leadership, his superiors encouraged Parker to earn his commission as an officer. He met and married his wife, Kelly, in Charleston. When they decided to start a family, they learned a short time later Brian had to deploy to the Middle East.
Unfortunately he will miss the birth of the their first child. Kelly says it's hard but she admires her husband’s dedication to his country and fellow Marines and his commitment to her and their unborn son. She says their baby boy, little Henry, will be the luckiest little boy in the world to have this one of a kind Marine and his daddy!
