One arrest, one sought in Five Points stabbing investigation

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Columbia Police arrested a man and are searching for another in connection with a stabbing that took place in Five Points.

Christopher Eugene Fuller, 26, turned himself in to Columbia Police Tuesday afternoon and has been charged with breach of peace of a high and aggravated Nature. Fuller has been transported to Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

Fuller and the suspected primary aggressor, Jeremy Alan Asbill, 27, are accused of fighting with several people at 727 Harden Street on Oct. 13.

Investigators say the stabbing occurred shortly before 4 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13 at the Exxon on Harden Street. The 23-year-old victim sustained serious wounds to his upper and lower body. The victim has since been treated and released from a hospital. CPD Investigators continue to search for Asbill.

Once captured, Asbill will be charged with attempted murder and breach of peace of a high and aggravated nature.
