One of the top college football prospects in the state is out for the season.

Dutch Fork’s Stephen Davis Jr. tore his ACL during last Friday’s win over Dorman.

Silver Fox head coach Tom Knotts said Davis Jr. will have surgery in three weeks.

The senior sustained the injury in the first quarter, and had to be carted off the field.

Davis Jr. played running back and safety for the Silver Foxes. He recently decommitted from Auburn to reopen his recruitment.

The top five schools he’s interested in are USC, Clemson, Georgia, Florida State, and Auburn.
