COLUMBIA, SC (TheBigSpur.com) - There is a third major injury for a player on South Carolina’s offense.

Junior Cody Waldrop suffered a broken leg in practice on Saturday afternoon. The exact timetable for a return is undetermined, but he is more than likely out for the season.

Waldrop entered the season as the backup center for the Gamecocks behind sophomore Alan Knott, who played every snap of the game in the season-opener against North Carolina. Waldrop has also played at both guard positions during fall camp.

Waldrop has made eight starts in his career, which have all come at the center position. True freshman Zack Bailey has been working as third-team center.

South Carolina has also lost wide receivers Shaq Davidson (knee) and Jerad Washington (broken leg) for the year due to injury.
