Father of slain Holly Hill children arrested on drug charges released on bond

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

A judge set bond at $30,000 on drug charges for the father of three children killed in a homicide in Holly Hill earlier this week.

Christopher Wright, 36, has been charged on two outstanding State Law Enforcement Division  warrants for trafficking methamphetamine. The judge set bond at $15,000 for each of those charges. Wright has been released on bond.

Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office detectives served those warrants Thursday as they interviewed Wright.

“These arrests are the indirect result of our extensive and ongoing investigation into this horrific incident,” Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said. “As I stated on Wednesday, we are not going to stop until we have any and everyone involved in custody to face this heinous crime.”

The charges against Wright are unrelated to Wednesday’s multiple homicide that included Wright’s two children, Tamara Perry, 14; Shamekia Sanders, 17; and an 8-year-old male who has been taken to a secure location where he remains in critical condition after suffering a gunshot wound, Walker said.

Two others, Krystal Hutto, 28, and Jerome Butler, 50, were also found dead at the home.
