3 things to know as you head out the door

. - Good morning and happy Friday, WIS friends! Ready for the weekend? Here are your three things to know as you head out the door:

1.) Haley Request: Governor Nikki Haley is urging people to stay away from the planned Ku Klux Klan rally at the State House tomorrow.  She released a statement saying in part, "We want to make the State House a lonely place
for them. In doing so, we'll honor those we have lost and continue to make our state stronger".  Trenholm United Methodist Church has answered the call.  The church had a prayer rally planned for noon Saturday.  The rally has now been moved to Sunday afternoon
at 3.

2.) Accused Dog Abuser in Court:  The man accused of taping Caitlyn the dog's mouth shut with electrical tape will face a judge during a hearing this morning.  William Leonard Dodson remains in jail.  He faces a felony charge
of animal cruelty after police say he taped the dog's mouth shut because she wouldn't stop barking.  If convicted, the charge carries a maximum of five years in prison.
3.) Time to Tee:  Golfers are back on the course in Round 2 of the Open Championship in Scotland, after a 3-hour rain delay this morning.  Irmo's Dustin Johnson sits atop the leader board after his 7 under par round 1, but he'll
have to wait a few more hours before he gets going today.  Johnson is scheduled to tee off just before 1 o'clock eastern time.  He'll be grouped again today with Jordan Spieth, who shot a 5 under during the opening round.
Spieth defeated Johnson in last month's US Open after Johnson bogeyed the final hole.

Expect some clouds this morning which will give way to mostly sunny skies by the afternoon.  There's a slight chance of a shower or storm.  Highs will be in the middle 90s.
