Richland deputies searching endangered missing person

RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - The Richland County Sheriff's Department needs the community's assistance finding a 51-year-old missing man with a serious medical condition.

According to Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott, Stanaland "Keith" Dixon, was last seen at noon Sunday, June 28 riding off-road with a friend in a pickup truck near I-77 in Blythewood when the truck got stuck in the mud.

Dixon decided to walk to Blythewood to get some help, but he hasn't been seen or heard from since, Lott said.

He is described as a white male, 5' 8" tall, 175 pounds, salt/pepper hair, and blue eyes.

Dixon was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jean shorts, and flip flops when he was last seen.

Authorities also indicated that Dixon has a very serious medical condition.

Lott said there is great concern for his safety due to the length of time that he has been missing.
