The Sumter County Sheriff's Office charged three people with operating a vehicle chop shop after a raid on a Salterstown community Tuesday morning.
Deputies arrested 38-year-old Frederick Galloway; his wife, 40-year-old Tawania Galloway; and his stepdaughter, 24-year-old Kionna Rhabb as a result of the investigation. All three have been charged with one count of violation of S.C. chop shop law.
Working with the Sumter Police Department, who had received reports of a stolen motorcycle earlier in the day, investigators were able to trace the alleged stolen vehicle to the Salterstown Road residence.
After obtaining search warrants, deputies located the reported stolen motorcycle, already disassembled, as well as various parts from numerous other motorcycles that investigators believe might be stolen, as well.
All three suspects were taken into custody and transported to the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center.
