What's with all these red noses?

WIS is teaming up with NBC for the inaugural U.S. Red Nose Day on May 21, 2015.

Red Nose Day, which has been a television fundraising event in the U.K. for 30 years, is a campaign dedicated to raising money for children living in poverty. The goal? Have fun and support a great cause!

NBC has partnered with 12 nonprofits in the U.S. and abroad to lift young people out of poverty. Learn more about the nonprofits here.

You can purchase your red nose at area Walgreens locations. You can also donate money online.

Half the money received will be distributed in the U.S. The other half will be spent in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

"America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon will start the festivities off Wednesday night with a dance-a-thon streaming on NBC.com. He will attempt to dance for 24 hours.

The day will conclude with a three-hour television event on WIS starting at 8:00 p.m. The special will feature comedians, musicians and Hollywood stars, including Will Ferrell, Reese Witherspoon, Jodie Foster, Jack Black, Coldplay, John Legend, Adam Levine, Martin Short, Julia Roberts, and more.
