New gamer pub opens in Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - A first of its kind pub opened on Friday night right here in Savannah for gamers.

The Chromatic Dragon combines food, drinks and games of all kinds. Patrons can play anything from video games, board games, party games and more with friends.

The owner explains why this gamer pub is such a great idea for our area.

“People are really excited about it I think,” said owner Clegg Ivey. “I think it fills a niche. There are a lot of bars in Savannah. Savannah is a great drinking town 100 percent, and it's a great restaurant town. So in order for us to do something exciting and different we had to really think outside of the normal box."

The Chromatic Dragon also plans to hold regular events to celebrate from Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.
