Browns, Shaw agree to multi-year deal

CLEVELAND, OH (TheBigSpur.com)- Not only does it look like former South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw is going to start the season finale against Baltimore on Sunday, it also looks like he's going to receive a multi-year contract with the Cleveland Browns.

Shaw, who practiced with the first team again on Friday afternoon, is set to start his first NFL game with Brian Hoyer and Johnny Manziel both nursing injuries.

Shaw has been on the practice squad all year and is active for the first time this weekend.

He has practiced with the first team offense this week as the Browns look to replace Hoyer, who is battling a shoulder injury.

Manziel has already been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
