COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A judge decided to continue a case on Friday of an 18-year-old man accused of stabbing a 17-year-old Dutch Fork High School student following a high school basketball game.
The judge was asked to revoke Kierin Dennis' bond after they say he was spotted at a nightclub by the brother of Da'Von Capers, the victim in this case, on Nov. 28.
Prosecutors say Dennis violated his $100,000 bond by appearing at this nightclub. According to the conditions of Dennis' bond, he is only allowed to go to work, church, his attorney's office, and his home.
Dennis' attorney, Todd Rutherford, called the whole thing a "misunderstanding" that would be cleared up in court.
According to Lexington County investigators, Capers was stabbed by Dennis outside a Lexington Cookout restaurant back in February.
