INTERACTIVE MAP: Violent Crime Totals by County

The FBI has just released crime statistics covering the year 2013. That data includes the violent crime totals by each county in South Carolina.

The violent crime total is the total sum of of murders, manslaughters, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults in any county.

Each county is color-coded by the higher or lower number from the FBI. The higher the number, the darker the color and more violent crimes.

If a county is colored red, then that county did not have statistics available.
