COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Andrew Labovitz paid WIS a visit and brought the American Football Coaches Association Trophy, awarded to the college football national champion each season.

The trophy hoists the iconic Waterford crystal football atop its large black frame.

Labovitz has the job of traveling around with the trophy throughout the college football season, and said the trophy will make an appearance at ten marquee football games this year.

Luckily for those attending the South Carolina-Georgia game Saturday, Williams-Brice Stadium is the next stop for the iconic trophy's tour.

If any fans are interested in seeing the trophy, Labovitz said there will be a tent setup in the Gamecock Village starting at 11:00 a.m., and all fans are welcome to come by and take photos with the trophy.

Once the game kicks off, however, the trophy will be along the sidelines for all of tomorrow's gridiron action.

The Gamecocks defend their home turf against the Bulldogs at 3:30 p.m. on CBS.
