Cher cancels concert at North Charleston Coliseum due to illness

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

Cher has canceled her concert at the North Charleston Coliseum due to illness. 

North Charleston Coliseum officials released a statement on Thursday stating that all remaining dates for Cher's Dressed To Kill concert tour have been been canceled, including a concert at the coliseum that was scheduled for Nov. 19 but had been postponed to be rescheduled at a later date. 

According to coliseum officials, ticket refunds will be available at point of purchase starting Tuesday, Nov. 25.  

A national press release states that Cher's doctors have advised her to take more time off the road to ensure a complete and total recovery following an infection she received. 

The pop icon last performed at the North Charleston Coliseum in April 2003.
