Columbia Brew Bus Launch Party
Friday, August 22, 2014 -- 5-8 p.m.
Craft and Draft, Columbia, SC

At 5 p.m. in the back parking lot of Craft and Draft, the newly-wrapped Brew Bus will be unveiled and open for folks to check out. The Wurst Wagen and Happiness Bomb Boiled PNUTS will be vending all of your food needs to go along with your beer, and Scene SC will be spinning tunes from local bands all night long.

Jailbreak Escape Urban Challenge Run

Registration: $65 Two-Person Team, $35 Single Entry

The Jailbreak Escape Urban Challenge Run is a 3.1 mile run with obstacles and crossfit-style exercises designed to challenge participants of all ages and fitness levels. In addition to raising money for the Lexington County Sheriff's Foundation, the event is designed to encourage family fun and fitness for Midlands residents.

5th Annual Summer Celebration of Water

The annual Summer Celebration of Water connects people to our area's phenomenal water resources in a fun, family atmosphere. 36th Annual Jubilee: Festival of Heritage

Join Historic Columbia in celebrating the rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit of a local family. The Jubilee features a variety of activities including hands-on demonstrations from some of the region's most skilled artists and craftsmen, musical entertainment including African drumming, R&B, jazz, and gospel, and vendors with African-influenced and traditional merchandise. Highlights of the festival also include tours of the Mann-Simons Site, African-American heritage sites tours, and many other activities throughout the day!

FOLKFabulous 2014

FOLKFabulous is a day-long celebration of Native American communities and artists in the Southeast, held at the Historic Horseshoe on the campus of the University of South Carolina. This event will be the largest gathering of Eastern North American Indian artists in the history of the University. The festival will feature musical performances, demonstrating artisans, dialog with community members, and engaging storytellers - perfect for the whole family.

The Palmetto Peanut Boil competition celebrates food, friends and fun, all the while supporting a great cause!
