LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers are looking for the person who fled the scene after hitting a motorcycle and seriously injuring the rider.

Troopers say the driver of a mid-80's to early 90's white Ford Ranger struck the motorcyclist back on Aug. 1 around 12 a.m. on Highway 1 in Lexington.

The driver, investigators say, is a white or hispanic male 5'5" to 5'8" tall.

Officials say the truck has noticeable damage to the right rear corner of the car and the right rear tail light is missing or damaged. The truck also has a toolbox in the truck bed.

If you have any information about this case, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
