COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

A man wanted for a bank robbery last month has been identified by police.

Jennifer Timmons with the Columbia Police Department said Asad Tyrone Salam (A.K.A. Gregory Tyrone Moore) is wanted in connection with a bank robbery on July 29.

Timmons said a man walked into Community Bank at 4103 West Beltline Boulevard, demanded money from the bank clerk and fled with an undisclosed amount.

Once arrested, Salam will be charged with entering a bank with the intent to steal, Timmons said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Salam is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.

Tipsters can be eligible for a cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
