Boil water advisory issued for parts of West Columbia repealed

WEST COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

A boil water advisory issued on Monday by West Columbia officials has now been lifted.

This repeal affects water customers on both sides of North Lake Drive from Pilgrim Church Road to Andrew Corley Road.

Customers living on Andrew Corley Road from S.C. Highway 6 to Corley Mill Road as well residents of Midway Road and the Kenwood subdivision may now also continue to use their water supply.

Officials have thoroughly tested the water and determined it is no longer necessary to boil.
