SC Mission 2014 offers free health care this weekend

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Free medical care is being offered this weekend to people throughout the Midlands who might not be able to afford it otherwise.

SC Mission 2014 is Friday and Saturday at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds on Rosewood Drive in Columbia. Doctors will be seeing patients who need medical care and eye care.

Anyone who does not have insurance, 17 years old and older, can attend on a first-come, first-served basis. However if the event reaches a maximum capacity, registration will close.  Potential patients do not need to bring verification or documentation to receive services.

Hours are 6 a.m.- 6 p.m. Friday, 6 a.m. - 12 p.m. Saturday. Parking gates open at 5:30 a.m. both days.
