ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

Monday morning's normal commute was a bit more troublesome due to at least two accidents that caused major issues on Interstate 20 and Interstate 26.

An overturned tractor trailer shut down the westbound lanes of Interstate 26 near St. Matthews.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported the accident happened at mile marker 143 in Orangeburg County around 7 a.m. Monday.

According to the state Department of Transportation's website, the collision happened two miles east of Exit 139, which is the Burke Road exit.

Meanwhile, on Interstate 20, another accident caused the roadway to be blocked near mile marker 67 at the Broad River Bridge.

No word yet on whether anyone was injured in either accident.
