The Richland County Sheriff's Department has taken three of four suspects into custody for murder and attempted robbery charges.

Richland County deputies have arrested Devin Smith (20) and Marquel Ross (21) charging them with murder and three counts of armed robbery. Tationna Sowell, 20, was also arrested by Richland County Sheriff's Department and has been charged with misprision of a felony.

Caleb Blocker was arrested by the Lexington County Sheriff's Department and was also charged with murder and three counts of attempted armed robbery.

The four suspects were arrested for an incident that occurred in March on Fairlamb Avenue. Lieutenant Curtis Wilson of the Richland County Sheriff's Department said Sowell approached several men at a bar on Old Percival Road and solicited for sex under a different alias.

Three men left the bar and were followed by Smith, Blocker, Ross and Sowell to a home on Fairlamb Avenue. There, authorities said two of the victims were severely beaten but managed to escape. However, one victim was trapped in the vehicle where he was dragged outside, beaten and killed by gunshot. Deputies said the suspects were looking to steal money from the victims.
