(RNN) - Kayden Kinckle proved a "can do" attitude is important, even if you're not that old and don't have full use of all your limbs.
The 2-year-old's mother posted a YouTube video of Kayden taking his first steps with the aid of a walker and a prosthetic right leg.
He excitedly yells, "I got it!" when it becomes clear he is getting a handle on what he's doing.
Kayden's mother, Nikki, wrote in the video description he was born with a condition called omphalocele, which causes organs to grow outside the body, and doctors advised her to terminate her pregnancy.
Nikki and her husband chose to ignore that advice and their son was born premature, preventing the condition from growing as large as expected.
His right foot and left leg were amputated, so Kayden uses prosthetics.
