Torchlight Tattoo and Fireworks
4-10 p.m. – Friday, July 4, 2014
Fort Jackson – Hilton Field, Columbia, SC
Admission: Free

Don't miss this Fort Jackson tradition featuring a cannon salute to each state and territory, music by the 282nd Army "Victory" Band, and fireworks. The field opens at 4 PM and the Tattoo begins at 9 p.m. 

Lexington County Peach Festival
8:30 a.m. -10 p.m. – Friday, July 4, 2014
Gilbert Community Park, Gilbert, SC
Admission: Free

Festivities kick off with the parade at 9:30 a.m. and stretch into the night until 10 p.m. with a dazzling display of fireworks. In between, enjoy live entertainment, Art & Craft Exhibits, an antique car show, a Revolutionary War Re-enactment, a tractor show, children's rides, and plenty of "Peachy" delights! 

Blues & BBQ on the River
6-10 p.m. – Friday, July 4, 2014
Coble Plaza (behind EdVenture), Columbia, SC
Admission: FREE
Tickets: $15 (includes food, beverages & access to terrace seating)

The City of Columbia Parks & Recreation Department is hosting an evening of fun, food and blues, featuring music from Elliott & the Untouchables and Columbia's first fire display on the water at 8:30 p.m.

Star Spangled Symphonic Salute
6-9:30 p.m. – Friday, July 4, 2014
Saluda Shoals Park, Irmo, SC
Admission: Free with Park Admission

Lake Murray Symphony Orchestra and Saluda Shoals Park present their annual "Star Spangled Symphonic Salute" program featuring traditional patriotic music for an old-fashioned outdoor celebration in the gorgeous Saluda Shoals Park. 

Freedom Festival and Fireworks Show
1-10 p.m. – Friday, July 4, 2014
Village at Sandhill, Columbia, SC
Admission: Free

Free rides and activities begin at 1 p.m., and the music starts at 6 p.m. with country music star Ronnie McDowell followed by the legendary Johnny Lee and The Urban Cowboy Band at 8 p.m. Last, but not least, the fireworks show gets underway at 9:30 p.m. 

Newberry Fireworks Celebration
6 p.m. until – Friday, July 4, 2014
Newberry High School, Newberry, SC
Admission: Free (Donations accepted)

This family friendly event features games for the kids and food for all ages. Children's activities start at 6 p.m., skydiving celebration at 8 p.m., and the fireworks will begin at dusk. 

Blowfish Baseball + Fireworks
7:05 p.m. – Friday, July 4 AND Saturday, July 5
Capital City Stadium, Columbia, SC
Admission: Ranges from $5-7

Enjoy a night of Blowfish baseball with the family, followed by a tribute to the 200th anniversary of our national anthem and independence fireworks. 

Capital City Beach Party

Finlay Park, Columbia, SC
Admission: FREE

The City of Columbia is bringing the beach to Finlay Park for an evening of fun, games, music and fireworks! 

A Rockin' Red, White & Blue Celebration
6-10 p.m. – Saturday, July 5, 2014
Doko Meadows, Blythewood, SC
Admission: Free

Enjoy "A Rockin' Red, White & Blue Celebration"with the Town of Blythewood, featuring music from D.B. Bryant Band, food vendors, Blythewood Arts Center's display of art work, face painting, and fireworks! 

BBQ and Blues
10 a.m. - 6 p.m. – Saturday, July 5, 2014

Admission: Free

Enjoy BBQ Plates and music from the Fat Back and Groove Band at the new Community Park in Irmo.
