COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina Republicans in Columbia are gathering to bring a little unity back to their party after the primaries.

The state Republican Party is holding a unity luncheon at noon Wednesday. Gov. Nikki Haley will be there, along with several other statewide officer holders and nominees. Candidates who lost in the Republican primary are welcome too.

U.S. Sens. Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham will join the lunch on a video call over the Internet.

State GOP Chairman Matt Moore says the goal of the lunch is to show Republicans will back each other even after tough primary races.
