JetBlue to begin flying from Charleston to D.C. Thursday

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) -

JetBlue is gearing up for its newest addition to the their stable of flights out of Charleston.

The airline company will join the Charleston County Aviation Authority Thursday, June 19 at 1 p.m. at Charleston International Airport to celebrate JetBlue's new service to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The move was announced in early March of this year.

Beginning June 19, JetBlue customers will be able to fly out of Charleston International Airport on a direct flight to Washington, D.C. JetBlue also offers flight to Boston and New York City.
