RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

The man who allegedly stabbed his wife and teenage son at the family's Lake Carolina home turned himself in to investigators Monday morning, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.

Sgt. Curtis Wilson with the Richland County Sheriff's Department says 32-year-old Edward Earl Baker is in custody and has been charged with two counts of attempted murder. A check on Baker's status shows he will be charged with two counts of attempted murder.

Investigators say Baker stabbed his wife multiple times in the upper body and also wounded his 14-year-old son Sunday just after 6 a.m. on Centennial Drive.

Both victims were taken to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Baker's criminal background check shows numerous criminal domestic violence charges going as far back as 2004.
