LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

Lexington County sheriff's deputies serving an arrest warrant on a criminal domestic violence charge say they found a meth lab in the home.

Sheriff James Metts says deputies were serving an arrest warrant for Jeffery Dale Summers, II, 28, at a home on Fallaw Road near Gaston Wednesday when they found items used to make methamphetamine.

Summers had an outstanding warrant for criminal domestic violence, stalking and pointing and presenting a firearm at a person.

Deputies called officers from the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team, who confirmed meth was being made in the home. NET officers reported finding other items in the home used to make meth.

In addition to the previous charges, Summers, whose address is Watermark Place in Columbia, is charged with second-offense manufacturing methamphetamine and unlawfully disposing of waste from a meth lab.

He is awaiting a bond hearing at the Lexington County Detention Center.
