Library, airport team up to provide free downloads for travelers

CAYCE, SC (WIS) -

People traveling through Columbia Metropolitan Airport can download electronic media to entertain themselves if they have to pass time with a layover or delay.

The airport has teamed up with Richland Library to offer free downloads of entertainment media. Guests can choose from thousands of downloadable books, music and movie titles.

The site can be accessed through QR codes posted throughout the airport, or they can click here to access content.

"Richland Library takes our tagline ‘access freely' quite seriously," said Tony Tallent, the library's Director of Literacy and Learning. "Regardless of where they're from or where they're going, CAE customers now have easy access to free streaming and downloadable titles to help make their next adventure more enjoyable."
