LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

A Lexington County couple has been arrested after Sheriff James Metts says a meth lab was found in a home.

Officers with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Brenton Alford Brazell, 33, and Candida Mae Card, 39. Card's address is the Kyle Road home near Lexington where Metts says the meth lab was found.

Brazell is charged with meth and drug-related charges. Along with similar meth and drug-related charges, Card is charged with possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Brazell and Card were awaiting bond hearings at the Lexington County Detention Center.

Officers were called to the home just before noon Wednesday on a tip that illegal drug activity was going on at the house. Officers say they found materials that are used to make meth, a .22 caliber rifle and a blender containing powder of pseudoephedrine and prescription medication.

This is the second meth lab bust in Lexington County within a week.
