Deputies release description of man who attacked woman while walking dog

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Richland County Sheriff's deputies have released a description of a man a woman claims attacked her while walking her dog.

Authorities responded to the 8700 block of Windsor Lake Boulevard around 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Richland County deputies say the woman tried to fight back when a man began attacking and trying to sexually assault her after coming from between two vehicles. 

Investigators believe the man ran away when he saw another person coming.

Deputies have little information on the attacker, but believe he is a black male between 16 and 18 years old, about 5'5" with an average build. He was wearing dark pants, a dark hoodie jacket and green and white striped polo shirt.
