COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - Students at the University of South Carolina are set to hold a massive yard sale with items left over after they moved out of their dorms.
Nearly 5,000 pounds of clothing, 33 televisions, 35 microwaves and 60 brooms are among the paraphernalia being sold on Saturday.
Students moving out of their residence halls donated the unwanted items, and the proceeds will be used to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Greene Street intramural field near Colonial Life Arena.
Early bird admission is $5 from 7 to 8 a.m., while entry after that time is free.
