Dogs in tutus strut their stuff in first ever 'Puppies and Tiaras' competition

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Dogs of all sizes spent Sunday afternoon strutting their stuff for a couple of good causes.

The first ever Puppies and Tiaras competition took place at The Loose Cockaboose.

There were three rounds: introduction, beauty and a canine inspection.

Organizers said it's all in good fun.

"It's the three D's of a Sunday fun-day," event organizer Matthew Butler said. "You've got dogs, drag queens, and drinking. So, I mean, you know, it's all for two worthy causes, which is actually, at the end of the day, that's what it's all about."

Money raised will be split between South Carolina Pride and Pets Inc.
