SC highway closed after tanker overturns, spilling fuel in roadway

LANCASTER COUNTY, SC (WBTV) -

Emergency crews in Lancaster County are working to clear an overturned tanker truck that is spilling fuel into the highway.

The crash is reported at Highway 97 and Ember Lane in the Heath Springs community, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.

The highway is closed to traffic.

Crews report a hole about a foot wide in the truck where fueling is leaking out.
