KERSHAW COUNTY, SC (WIS) -

For the third time in a year, a Lugoff man has been arrested for manufacturing meth at the same home.

Kershaw County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigators on Wednesday arrested Edward W. Conant, 42, Joseph H. Johnson, 35, and Jammie L. Frazier, 34, following the discovery of an alleged methamphetamine lab at 247 Cricket Hill Dr. in Lugoff.

Sheriff Jim Matthews says investigators arrested Conant at the same address in May of 2013 and February of 2014 after locating methamphetamine manufacturing operations.

Since those arrests, the sheriff's office had received numerous complaints about methamphetamine again being made at the home, Matthews said.

The alleged lab was the 7th meth lab operation discovered in Kershaw County in 2014. In 2013 , deputies found three meth labs during the entire year.

Conant, Johnson and Frazier are all being charged with manufacturing methamphetamine. Johnson and Conant are both being charged with possession of methamphetamine. Additionally, Johnson is being charged with second degree simple possession of marijuana.

Deputies also seized two pistols during the raid.

"Our narcotics investigators are trying to stay on top of this meth problem before it gets even more out of hand," said Matthews. "Their efforts are paying off with yet another meth lab bust. We will continue to focus on this problem as information by the public and through independent investigation is obtained. Some counties in South Carolina have a serious meth problem. We are determined to keep that from happening in Kershaw County."

Conant has previous arrests for manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, traffic offenses, shoplifting and criminal sexual conduct. Johnson has been arrested for possession of marijuana, weapons violations and traffic offenses. Frazier has previous arrests for criminal domestic violence, shoplifting, grand larceny and burglary. Frazier is currently on probation. Conant was out on bond for two prior methamphetamine manufacturing offenses and criminal sexual conduct.

All three were being held at the Kershaw County Detention Center awaiting bond hearings.
