A gas line leak that caused several roads in Forest Acres to be closed has been clamped off, according to a spokesperson with the Columbia Fire Department

Spokesperson Brick Lewis says a gas line broke Wednesday afternoon in the 3300 block of Harrison Road, which is near the intersection of Forest Drive. Officers with the Forest Acres Police Department and SCE&G assisted at the scene.

Parts of Forest Drive were closed off for several hours while officials worked the scene.

There are no evacuations and no injuries were reported.
