RALEIGH, N.C. - Raleigh's Red Hat is now in the process of hiring 800 new associates across the globe for the fiscal year of 2015.

Currently, there about 50 positions based in Raleigh (likely more to open up throughout the fiscal year), and the rest will be spread out around the world. The software giant is actively recruiting and searching for the best talent.

For instance, there’s an opening for a senior software engineer. Rajeev Jaswal, the director of product and customer systems said, “This role not only entails software development but also understanding the architecture, where we’re going with solutions, and working with business customers internally and externally.”

Executive Vice President DeLisa Alexander said, “We’re looking for jobs in every single category, but we’re focused on sale and technology roles. So we’ll be adding to our sales and services organization around the globe and to our engineering department.”
