Cornbread lovers were in north Columbia Sunday.

The second annual South Carolina Cornbread Festival kicked off without a hitch after being moved from Saturday to Sunday because of the weather.

The ten hour event was full of live music, food, dancing, and amusement rides for the kids.

"Cornbread is on every table and every household regardless of where you come from," said Donald Gist, chairman of the festival.

There was even a cornbread cook-off.

The winner of the cook-off, Charles Moser, has been cooking cornbread for decades.

"Since I was a little boy," Moser said. "My mother taught me how to make cornbread back in the early years. I was born in 33."

His winning recipe included nuts and carrots.
