Police release sketches of men wanted in sexual assaults

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

The Columbia Police Department has released composite sketches of two men wanted in two sexual assaults.

Investigators do no know if the suspects or the cases are connected.  Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The first sexual assault occurred at about 11 p.m. on Saturday, March 15 at a home on South Saluda Avenue.  The victim told police a man she did not know broke into her home and attacked her.

A second sexual assault was reported at about 6 a.m. Monday, March 16 at a home on North Beltline Boulevard. The woman told investigators a man she did not know broke into her home and sexually attacked her at gunpoint.
