POWDER SPRINGS, GA (CBS46) -

Cobb County police said they believe a 14-year-old boy killed two men during a drug deal in a park Sunday night.

Jaydon Lee Reid was arrested and is being held on charges of felony murder in connection with the shooting.

According to investigators, the Cobb County Emergency Communications Center dispatched officers to Wild Horse Creek Park on Macedonia Drive in Powder Springs in reference to shots being fired.

When the officers arrived, they discovered the bodies of two men, Terrance Banks, 23, and Sterling Hargrave, 21, both of Powder Springs, who were dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Investigators arrested and charged Jaydon with two counts felony murder, two counts aggravated assault, marijuana possession, two counts armed robbery with a weapon, and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Jaydon was found with seven ounces of marijuana when he was arrested.

According to the arrest warrant, the teen took money and marijuana from the men during a drug transaction.

When Gwendolyn Allen looked out from her front door and saw police cars crowding the area, she knew something was terribly wrong.

Allen said she didn't hear any noise or commotion before police arrived. As it turns out, she knew Banks and Hargrave.

"They never did anything to me. They called me Ms. Gwen every time, never was disrespectful to me," said Allen.

Jaydon is being held at the Marietta Regional Youth Detention Center without bond.

Anyone who may have information regarding this homicide is asked to call 770-499-3945.
