Dash camera video shows motorcyclist crashing following pursuit

HANAHAN, SC (WCSC) -

A 24-year-old man is behind bars after investigators say he led officers on a motorcycle chase which ended in a wreck in Hanahan Monday night.

Hanahan Police have charged Daniel Harrison with failure to stop for blue lights, reckless driving, illegal transportation of liquor, violations of a beginner's permit, no insurance, failure to register a motor vehicle and improper use of a license plate.

According to police, Harrison was spotted driving recklessly, popping wheelies and failed to stop for blue lights. Police say he eventually lost control of his vehicle and wrecked on Snake Road.

Harrison was transported to Trident Hospital for medical treatment following the crash and was released with minor injuries.

He was then transported to jail.
