Attorney for accused killer in Briana Rabon case waives bond hearing

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

The 21-year-old accused of killing 18-year-old Briana Rabon will remain in jail until his trial on various charged related to the incident.

The attorney for Stephen Ross Kelly said he waived Kelly's right to a bond hearing Monday morning.

Kelly was arrested late Friday night after an intense investigation zeroed in on the Lugoff resident.

Rabon was found dead in a wooded area behind Haig's Creek Subdivision in Elgin on Feb. 26.

Kelly is currently facing murder, kidnapping, and criminal sexual conduct charges. He is currently housed at the Kershaw County Detention Center.
