Deputies seek men who smashed door, stole cigarettes from Piggly Wiggly

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Richland County deputies hope the release of surveillance video from a grocery store burglary will help catch the men responsible.

The incident happened at 3:30 a.m. on February 12 at the Piggly Wiggly located at 6325 N. Main Street. Deputies say two men forced their way into the store by throwing an object through the front glass doors.

Once inside, the burglars stole multiple cartons of cigarettes valued at approximately $900.00.    

Suspect number one is described as a black male, wearing a blue hoodie with stripes down the sleeves, and blue jeans. Suspect number two is described as a black male, wearing a red hoodie, and blue jeans.
